Darlene Brister has enjoyed working in the dental field since 1978. She has been working with Audubon Dental Group since 1982 and considers them to be a fantastic group of dental professionals. When she is not working with her friends at the office, she spends time with the other blessings in her life, her two daughters and their three dogs. They have fun in the outdoors and visiting with family.
Eliani Avila, EDDA
Eliani Avila began her career in dental assisting in June of 1995 and later became EDDA trained. She loves working with patients and is happiest when they are well cared for. A native of Honduras, Eliani often translates for our Spanish-speaking patients.
Sandra Sewire, EDDA
Sandra Sewire has been with Audubon Dental Group for eleven years. A native of Thibodeaux, Sandra assists Dr. Tolar on most days as an expanded-duty Dental Assistant. She is extremely hard-working and Audubon Dental Group depends on her so much.
Melissa Walters, EDDA
Melissa is the newest addition to our team. She is invaluable to Drs. Tom, Tolar, and Sturm, assisting whoever needs help. A native New Orleanian, Melissa recently moved back home from Biloxi. While there, she worked as a dental assistant for 7 years and attended Pearl River Community College. Her goal is to become a dental hygienist.
